For families abroad

Your parents are in Hyderabad. You are not. We hold the middle.

Every Sunday you call, and every Sunday it’s “sab theek hai.” MerakiCare puts a Care team on the ground beside your parents — visiting, treating, coordinating, documenting — and puts the truth of how they really are on your phone, every week.

Tell us about your parents

Share an Indian contact number — yours or a family member’s — and we’ll arrange a call across your time zone.

MerakiCare is not an emergency service. For a medical emergency, call 112 or 108, or go to your nearest emergency department.

Or message us on WhatsApp. During published working hours, we aim to respond within one hour.

Distance doesn’t change love. It just makes care harder.

Six days a week, your parents manage hospital visits, medicine refills and the long pauses between things — while you refresh WhatsApp and wonder. NRI elder care isn’t about replacing you. It’s about making sure the days between your calls are safe, structured and honestly reported.

How it works across the distance

Care for your parents in India, coordinated from anywhere.

One number, every time zone

A single point of contact who answers — for scheduling, for questions, for the 2 a.m. worry. No call centres, no starting over.

A weekly written update

How they’re eating, sleeping, what the doctor said, how their mood was. It lands on your phone — “BP stable, mood good” — and you stop wondering.

WhatsApp-first everything

Book visits, receive visit notes within 24 hours, see lab reports with the doctor’s explanation — all where you already are.

An emergency protocol that acts

A 24/7 line, ambulance and admission coordinated, a familiar face at the hospital before you’ve found a flight. You’re informed at every step — while we act.

When they need medical care

A full medical team, without the hospital trip.

Through Kavach, our medical pillar, everything your parents need clinically comes home — arranged by their care manager, reported to you. For specific diagnoses, our Condition Care Plans add structured programmes for cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, arthritis, diabetes and stroke recovery.

Voices from the families we serve

Trusted in homes across Hyderabad & Secunderabad

The team treated my father with such dignity. Having one care manager who knew everything made an impossible situation manageable.

FAQs

Questions NRI families actually ask

Still have questions? Our Care Managers are happy to help — call or message anytime.

This is the most common starting point — and it deserves respect, not argument. Most families begin gently: a monthly wellness visit framed as “the Care Manager’s routine”, or a Sahaara Essential plan that feels like a family friend checking in rather than “care”. Your parents decide what they accept; trust builds visit by visit. Within weeks, the visit is usually the part of the week they look forward to.

Simply. Monthly invoicing with online payment — international cards, bank transfer or UPI through family in India. Clear itemised bills, no lock-ins, cancel with 30 days’ notice. You will never discover a charge you didn’t approve.

You call one number — or your parent does, or the neighbour does. We coordinate the ambulance and hospital admission, a care manager reaches the hospital to be with your parent and liaise with doctors, and you receive live updates. When you land, you walk into a managed situation, not chaos. After discharge, we run the recovery at home.

Structured, honest reporting. A written weekly update covering health, mood, meals and anything we noticed. The report also includes doctor visit notes, lab reports or reports of any other service you have subscribed to. We also help setting up proper video calls so you see their face, not just hear the reassurance.

Relatives are gold — and we work alongside them, never instead of them. What a relative cannot provide is the clinical layer: a physician who tracks the BP trend, a nurse who spots the wound turning, documentation that catches what memory misses. Most families keep the relative’s warmth and add our structure.

Hyderabad and Secunderabad — deliberately. Depth beats breadth in care: our doctors, nurses and care managers are one accountable local team, not franchise listings. If your parents are here, they are properly covered.

Please do. A 30-minute conversation — about them, about what worries you — with no pitch and no obligation. We’ll tell you honestly what would help, including when the answer is “less than you think”.

Be there — without being there

A 30-minute conversation across your time zone. About them, about what worries you. No pitch, no obligation — just an honest read on what would help.
